Music: The Dark Island by Dave Sheriff
Position:Man on ILOD facing LOD. Lady on OLOD facing RLOD. Right palm to right palm. Opposite footwork
12 count intro. Start just after bagpipes come in

PINWHEEL 1/2 TO THE RIGHT
1-3 MAN: Turn 1/4 right and step left, right, left
LADY: Turn 1/4 right and step right, left, right
Now on ILOD facing LOD
4-6 MAN: Turn 1/4 right and step right, left, right
LADY: Turn 1/4 right and step left, right, left
Now on OLOD facing RLOD

MAN: TURN 1/4 RIGHT / LADY: TURN 3/4 LEFT, BACK ROCK RECOVER, TURN 1/4
As you make the next turn, take right hands over the lady's head
7-9 MAN: Turn 1/4 right and step left, right, left
LADY: Turn 3/4 left and step right, left, right
Now facing each other
10-12 MAN: Rock right back, recover to left, turn 1/4 right and step right forward
LADY: Rock left back, recover to right, turn 1/4 left and step left forward
Both now facing LOD. Pick up hands in Sweetheart. Man still on OLOD
As you both rock-recover make it as if you bowing to each other

BOTH: BASIC FORWARD TWICE
13-15 MAN: Step left forward, step right together, step left in place
LADY: Step right forward, step left together, step right in place
16-18 MAN: Step right forward, step left together, step right in place
LADY: Step left forward, step right together, step left in place

MAN: VINE LEFT, BASIC FORWARD / LADY: FULL TURN RIGHT, BASIC FORWARD
As lady rolls across man, release left hands and raise right and rejoin in Sweetheart
19-21 MAN: Step left to side, cross right behind left, step left to side
LADY: Turn a full turn right stepping right, left, right
22-24 MAN: Step right forward, step left together, step right in place
LADY: Step left forward, step right together, step left in place
Man now on ILOD, lady on OLOD, both facing LOD, and in Sweetheart

ROCK RECOVER WITH TURN 1/4. TURN 1/2 INTO WINDOWS
As you make TURN 1/4 bring right hand over lady's head, ending cross hand hold, rights over lefts
25-27 MAN: Rock left forward, recover to right, turn 1/4 right and step left together
LADY: Rock right forward, recover to left, turn 1/4 left and step right together
As you make the turn 1/2 raise both hands above your heads and bring back down after turn. You are now in Windows
28-30 MAN: Turn 1/2 right and step right, left, right
LADY: Turn 1/2 left and step left, right, left
Man now on OLOD facing ILOD. Lady now on ILOD facing OLOD

MAN: TURN 1/4 OUT OF WINDOWS, ROCK RECOVER, TURN 1/2 / LADY: TURN 1&1/4 OUT OF WINDOWS, ROCK RECOVER, TURN 1/2
Raise both hands on next turn and bring back down into Sweetheart
31-33 MAN: Turn 1/4 left and step left, right, left
LADY: Turn 1 1/4 right and step right, left, right

Both facing RLOD man on OLOD, lady on ILOD
On next turn bring right over lady's head into cross hand hold, rights over left
34-36 MAN: Rock right forward, recover to left, turn 1/2 right and step right forward
LADY: Rock left forward, recover to right, turn 1/2 left and step left forward
Both now facing LOD

BASICS FORWARD TWICE
37-39 MAN: Step left forward, step right together, step left in place
LADY: Step right forward, step left together, step right in place
40-42 MAN: Step right forward, step left together, step right in place
LADY: Step left forward, step right together, step left in place

MAN: VINE LEFT, BASIC FORWARD LADY: FULL TURN RIGHT, BASIC 1/2 RIGHT
Keep hold of hands on lady's full turn ending in Sweetheart. Then release left hands as lady make her turn 1/2 right, ending palm to palm
43-45 MAN: Step left to side, cross right behind left, step left to side
LADY: Turn a full turn right stepping right, left, right
Lady rolls in front of man.
Man now on ILOD, lady on OLOD. Both facing LOD
46-48 MAN: Step right forward, step left together, step right in place
LADY: Turn 1/2 right and step left, right, left
Lady now facing RLOD

REPEAT
You will dance the dance 4 times. After the 4th time there will be a couple of counts left. Just bow to your partner for a nice ending
